This was a sad stop on a recent visit to Carrizo.
This old ranch house had pretty much collapsed. Its companion, another smaller house about 20 yards away, was completely flat on the ground. The smaller one wasn't even visible as we drove closer. It wasn’t until we got out and walked closer to them that we could see its remains.
