Early Morning In The Tree Cemetery
These scenes always make me think of a tree cemetery and I tried to get a decent shot of one many times.
This is an Avacado orchard which was stump pruned.
"After 35 years avocado trees are so tall that the harvest is too expensive and dangerous. After pruning, the trunk will generate new limbs and there will be some harvestable fruit within 5 years."
Taken early AM just as the sun was cresting the hills along Hwy 101 north of Goleta, California.
