A little Heritage to start the day
The city of Wisconsin Dells is just starting to come to life for the day with employees headed to staff the tourist attractions and families grabbing breakfast or talking a stroll on the river walk. Meanwhile, a loaded oil trail rumbles through town at track speed with NS 1068 in the lead.
While this far from a stellar shot, news of the Erie Heritage unit leading a 581 on the CP made me decide to make the jaunt over to the Dells to at least see the thing. This time of the day there are few options for a well lit photo of a westbound in this neck of the world, but the river bridge offered a mostly broadside shot.
