Deep Buttoned Footstool

This is one of my favourite projects. It's the first deep buttoned project I've done. Unfortunately the pictures start quite late in the process. This footstool started as a very wobbly frame which I put plywood on top to stabilise. The first layer is hair which was then hand stitched into place before placing the second layer (where the photos start from).
I used a vintage Sanderson fabric with leather covered buttons.
