Everglades Snail Kite Lifting Apple Snail Out Of Water
Linda and I have been running crazy trying to set up our photo exhibit and me fighting the flu. Thanks for your kind wishes on our show!! If you are in the area on Friday evening we would love to see you !!
Snail Kites are highly endangered in Florida and continue to do poorly!! This year almost all the nests failed in South Florida, because of introduced Apple Snails and water levels !! This Snail Kite has just grabbed an Apple Snail and is just pulling it out of the water. Thanks again for looking and your wonderful comments !!
