Sherman's Fox Squirrel

This is another image from the Klaus Peter photo walk weekend. Linda saw this guy on the side of the road in an Oak Tree as we were returning on Sunday. I got out and had him pose for the picture (not as easy as it sounded). This Fox Squirrel is listed in Florida as a species of special concern. Its numbers are dropping because of development. It lives in areas of mature Pine Trees and Oaks. A similiar habitat to the Scrub Jay.
