El interior de un bosque envuelve al caminante en una atmósfera de misterio, especialmente un hayedo, donde los troncos de las centenarias hayas inspiran personajes e historias fantásticas.
La mitología asturiana recoge la existencia del BUSGOSU. Cuentan que es un personaje de aspecto semihumano, con patas y cuernos de cabra, considerado el Señor del Bosque, cuya misión es la de proteger la flora y fauna. Su actitud es burlona y, aunque es inofensivo con las personas que se adentran en la espesura, pero PUEDE SER DAÑINO CON AQUELLOS QUE ATACAN A LA NATURALEZA.
En un rincón del occidente asturiano, se creía, basándose en certificados de defunción del s. XVII, que los besos del Busgosu producían escrofulismo y tisis, entre otras enfermedades que producen palidez y demacración.
El Busgosu es pariente del Musgosu cántabro y el Basajaun vasco.
LUGAR REAL: Hayedo de Salamón León
The interior of a forest envelops the traveler in an atmosphere of mystery, especially a beech forest, where the trunks of centuries have inspired characters and fantastic stories.
Asturian mythology reflects the existence of Busgosu. They say that is a half-human looking character, with goat legs and horns, considered the Lord of the Forest, whose mission is to protect the flora and fauna. Their attitude is mocking, but is harmless to people who venture into the woods, can be harmful to those who attack nature.
In a corner of western Asturias, it was believed, based on death certificates of s. XVII, which produced Busgosu kisses and scrofulous consumption, among other diseases that cause paleness and emaciation.
The Musgosu Busgosu is a relative of Cantabria and the Basque Basajaun.
