Dubái está situado en la costa del golfo Pérsico de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos y, aproximadamente, tiene una altura media de 9 msnm.6 3 Limita al sur con el emirato de Abu Dabi, con el de Sharjah por el noreste y con el Sultanato de Omán por el sureste, a través del exclave de Hatta, que también hace frontera con los emiratos de Ajmán por el oeste y de Ras al-Jaima por el norte.
