InLight Richmond 2009, organized by 1708 Gallery, is the second annual exhibition of outdoor light-inspired contemporary art from Richmond and around the world. InLight Richmond is an exploration and celebration of contemporary public art.
InLight 2009 included 26 international artists selected from a diverse pool of submissions by juror Adeline Vlas, Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The evening also featured a community lantern parade, the Wearable Art fashion show, performing arts and more.
