Somersby Falls Cave Panoramic

Taken at Somersby Falls, Brisbane Waters National Park, Central Coast, NSW, Australia, Earth.

13 Portrait Image Panoramic

Each image 7 exposures

These falls are at the lower part of Somersby Falls. It's a bit off the beaten path as not many come down this far or even know its here, but worth the effort. My mother sat on that rocks for it must have been about 15 minutes, as solid as the rock itself. She did wonderfully. It was thought best to have a human element in it to give an idea of the size of the area.

I took and processed another like this a couple of weeks ago but didn't post it as it was quite sunny that day and made the green areas look all muddy. Wasn't happy with the overall image.

This one took quite some time as the wind kept dropping and picking up and moving the branches. As soon as I noticed the tree moving, I retook the pictures. Each picture took a bit over 48 seconds as I was taking 7 exposures. The longest being 30 seconds.

One of the shots took 4 times as not only did the trees move... the Sun came out as well and totally threw off the constant exposure I had set. Thankfully... the sun went away and the wind blew off and I was free to continue.
