Huis Bergh Castle

Huis Bergh is a castle in the small town of 's-Heerenberg on the Dutch-German border, in the Province of Gelderland, Netherlands.

Huis Bergh Castle dates back to the 13th century and is one of the biggest castles in the Netherlands.

 

Kasteel Huis Bergh is een van de grootste kastelen van Nederland.

Het ligt binnen de stadsomwalling van de stad 's-Heerenberg in Gelderland vlakbij de grens Nederland-Duitsland.

Huis Bergh was het stamslot van de graven van Bergh.

De bouwgeschiedenis van het kasteel gaat terug tot het jaar 1250. Delen van het huis dateren uit de 14e, 15e en 17e eeuw.
