Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Kerala!
The trip has been brilliant so far - chilling, boats, backwaters and Tea plantations. The people are lovely, the food delicious, nutritous and cheap (curry featured only 35p). And although we're away from beloved friends and family we're staying with an amazing family (Tomy, Rajee, Dillip, Deepak and Deepu) where we'll be until 27th. Christmas Day will involve an early morning cake cutting before watching the sunrise, then off for a 4 hour trek into the plantation hills.
