La tenerezza dev'essere una cosa così.

Once we arrived with the boat to Harwich and go out, we saw there was barbed wire on both sides of the gangway. I think they knew the war was approaching. And just outside there was a small shop that sold chocolates with a small placard in front of the window that said "Gift Shop". And I got very scared. "Gift", "poison" in German. I thought, oh my God, they are going to poison us after all! Gift became the first word I learned in English.
