2ft 6in gauge Ruston & Hornsby Class LFT works number RH 518493 was delivered new to British Insulated Callender Cables Ltd, Prescot, Lancashire on the 16th March 1966, it moved to the Corris Railway on the 22nd May 1982 and became their No.6; it was photographed outside Maespoeth Shed on the 17th October 2010. This loco is still fitted with it's original Ruston 3YDA engine however as is often the case with preserved Rustons a larger cab has been fitted; Following purchase by the Corris Railway the loco was re-gauged to 2ft 3in. The people at Maespoeth were extremely friendly and kindly drove No.6 out of the shed to allow me to take a few photographs.
