Taken at Castlewood Canyon, CO with Nikon D80. Three bracketed images with +/-2 EV steps. Images corrected for basic picture control values in Nikon Capture NX 2, then processed with Photomatix and delivered to Photoshop. Painted in layers a la Vincent Versace to achieve light-to-dark, low-to-high contrast, depth of field, low-to-high structure. Then processed with Nik Silver Efex Pro to achieve a B&W output.
