Waroona Trees Burnt by fire
Nature is truly amazing. Last January the most terrible fires burnt Yarloop and the bush around Waroona in WA for 17 days. I drove through that area today and was amazed at the regrowth in the bush. Previously charred trees and ground are sprouting greenery. This stand of trees was spectacular with the yellow flowers at the base and clean burnt trunks with bits of greenery sprouting.
Another amazing thing is that I took this photo with my new baby mirrorless camera. It fits into the palm of my hand. I had the portrait lens on it when I stopped the car but the photos came out much better than I expected. I think I am going to have a bit of fun with this little toy.
