Mr Mallard
QUEEN OF CLIPPERS
My second scratchbuild model is now compleated, South Yorkshire PTE C108HDT is a 1985 Leyland dab or Bendibus as it was more commonly known, again ive produced it mainly from slaters plaster sheets and glazing, other items i used were white metal wheelsets / wipers ( mark huges ) and windscreen ( RTC models ).
Livery paints i used were Hycote Ford Sierra Beige for the cream and Humbrol french Blue gloss 14.
I innishally rejected building such a model when i was given the plans as i was un-easy about producing the concatina section, i searched high and low for what i could use, i did find such a material at a well known hardware store but being very costly i decided to just scratch build it myself,
