Pi and Feynman Point
This is not my photo, it is from the internet and is freely available through wikimedia etc. Richard Feynman (1918-1988) the famous 20th century physicist (born in NYC :-) had memorized the value of Pi all the way to the (red highlighted point) six consecutive 9's, then said that was enough... :-)
In his honor the "999999" sequence is called the "Feynman Point" in Pi. :-)
and in my artistic license, I refer to this image as "A Portrait of Pi"... Happy Pi Day and thank you Smurfy for your flickr post.
