LOAD 0510 Day 5
Distress? Did someone say DISTRESS? I love to distress, but it's one of those things I sometimes forget about - like rounding corners. So on this page I distressed everything!!! HOWEVER, I am 97% anti-photo distressing. Even though the pictures are digital, it still bothers me.
So here's what I did: 1. rubbed my Heidi Swapp Edge-Distresser around 12x12 CS. 2. Ripped out two rectangles of lavender CS. 3. Rubbed MM distressing block over lavender (textured) CS and outside of 12x12 to smooth edges a bit. 4. Mixed a light grey paint and painted edges of 12x12 and a little around border. Painted chipboard letters. Oh yeah, and my favorite part: I flicked the paint onto the purple 12x12. This was fun but challenging due to the fact that I was using a FOAM BRUSH! Dummy! 5. To adhere the letters, I used my favorite dimensional "adhesive": more chipboard! 6. After writing the journaling, I sorta wish I had done it on the back. Darn.
