Hawk Greene of Loreos

My character for the LCC (Lands of Classic Castle).

Bio: Hawk grew up an orphan on the streets of Loreos. From the age of six until sixteen, he wandered from city to city, pickpocketing coin and stealing bread to stay alive. However, on one faithful day he was thrown out of a settlement after being caught stealing an apple. He wandered for several days, lost in the desert without food or water. Fortunately for him, he was found by a group of highwaymen looking for their next victim. Their leader listened to Hawks story, and decided to take him under his wing.

For the next five years, he would become a prominent member of the highwaymen, eventually becoming the right-hand-man to their leader, Fawkes. However, Fawkes was killed not two months later. The group of bandits became more sloppy in their attacks, and eventually where caught off-guard by a group of Loreesi soldiers. After killing off the rest of the bandits in the group, the less-than-legitimate noble leading the company noticed a remarkable thing about Hawk; when his hair was combed, and his face cleaned, he bared a striking resemblance to one of the most well-known figures in Loreos politics; Mark Of Falworth.

The noble decided that Hawk was his ticket to scaling the political latter. For the next two years, he hired several trainers to make Hawk the perfect Mark of Falworth impersonator. He was trained in the art of swordsmanship, the ways of the court, how to read and write, and even how to play several instruments. What the noble did not expect was for Hawk to grow very fond of Loreos and its people during his training. When the time came for Hawk to impersonate Mark of Falworth, he couldn't bring himself to betray Loreos in such a way, and instead ratted out the noble to the kings men.

With his past behind him, he decided to travel, playing the lute in the street and in taverns in order to make legitimate money. However, with war looming on the horizon, and his unique set of acquired skills, he figured he could make more cash while helping the people by starting his own mercenary company with his friend Magnus. The desert hand is the name of their company. Unlike some mercenary groups, the hand is less focused on the acquisition of gold, and more on helping the people of Loreos. They gathered so much attention to themselves, that they where eventually recognized by the Prince himself, and have worked closely with the crown on jobs that a regular army could not achieve.
