Running With The Bulls

've been thinking alot lately of the running of the bulls,The Pamplona bull run takes place at 8am every morning from 7th to 14th of July. Runners must be in the running area by 7.30am. The actual run stretches from the corral at Santo Domingo where the bulls are kept, to the bullring where they will fight that same afternoon. The length of the run is 825 metres and the average time of the run from start to finish is about three minutes, this fiesta made famous by the 1926 Ernest Hemmingway novel 'The Sun Also Rises' so far I have asked 3 friends to go with me , but so far no takers ,I still have a few more to ask,if not I will ask them just to go and take pictures of me playing with the bulls, also if you go running with the bulls you have to touch one of the bulls or I dont even consider that a run,and yes I want to wear the white shirt with the red scarf around my neck, hell I might jump on top of a bull and ride that baby all the way to the ring waving my arms wildly in the air and all the while yelling like a madman who just won the lotto, also what I've been thinking about is taking my canvas to the ring where the bulls finally end up at, and painting a picture if a bull rams my painting so what ,that will just add to the expression of the painting, it would look cool to see a big hole in the canvas knowing a bull did it, if a bull rams me I will just try and get some blood on the canvas to sign my name for a final time ,that might be the best way for a artist to die, just think about ,as I'm taking my last breath with a hole in my chest as big as your fist and blood rushing out like a river, and people yelling and screaming all about, I slowly reach over to put the finishing touches on the canvas and whisper for the last time ,aahhh time for this painter to rest. take care,Steve
