Litchfield Christmas Bird Count
The first rays of the rising sun color this white ibis, pink as it flys over Mullet Pond, Sunday morning at Huntington Beach State Park as the full moon still hangs in the morning sky.
Birders were out, Sunday morning taking part in the annual Litchfield Beach - Pawleys Island Christmas Bird Count. This count is one of over 1700 Christmas Bird Counts counts held nationally, and is hosted by the Waccamaw Audubon Society.
