Ephemeral Wonderland

Driving along Highway 20 to Bella Coola, snow began to fall as we climbed toward Heckman Pass. This early Autumn flurry briefly transformed an ordinary roadside stream into a Winter Wonderland. A couple of hours later, on our return journey, it had all disappeared.
