Rainforest Colour

Difficult to observe in the rainforest canopy, the Rose-crowned Fruit Dove often gives its position away by the fruit it drops while feeding. They are common to rare residents in rainforest, mangroves and melaleuca scrub, from Cape Leveque in Western Australia to Newcastle, N.S.W.
