Backshore Encounter / Beaches of North Brabant (VI)
► █░▓ ≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈ TIME FOR SUMMER BEACH in a less frequented area of the densest populated country in Europe. On my walk along the left shore of the Boven Merwede river (aka Rhein on this short stretch). We are treading upon Natuurgebied Sleeuwijkerwaard (a nature resort). Upper right: a concrete pier, base for a pontoon bridge ever used for military exercise. Leftover from the Cold War era in 1956, a reminder of the ideology fud and paranoia that didn't start yesterday and lives to this very day.
Lumix G90 / Lumix 12-35 mm f2.8. —At 12mm (24mm full frame equivalent) and f5 aperture priority. Shutter speed of 1/80 sec. This is a sooc jpeg edited in Apple Photos 10.0, uncropped 4×3 format and exported as (non 16-bit) tiff.
