ANTON BRUCKNER's 127th anniversary 📯(Pilgrimage to Great Master - III)
THE SECOND HALF OF THE NIGHT I spent in Ansfelden. It was one of the rainiest nights in my life and the morning after was no exception. The rain wore off but not completely and the mood was dismal. I took a stroll around the hill with the parish church and payed due visit to Pfarrhof (Parish and clergy seat). In an hour time I only saw three people, swiftly walking the dogs who don't mind the rain as we know.
The Parish seat and court in the foreground are impeccably maintained. In the background rises the tower of parish church, to the right of which lies the birth house of Bruckner, and to the left the ABC (Anton Bruckner Centrum).
Music can be light entertainment, background sound, party fun, dancing motor, accompaniment at work or rituals, social element, ethnic root, crowd driver, study material, vanity object, period fashion, survival means, instrument playing or money making. Music of Bruckner is an existential phenomenon, resonance of the otherworldly harmonies that might await us in the Lord's Kingdom.
