Hammond Router Planer

I found one of these router/planers in a small newspaper shop in southern Illinois. It was used for leveling stereo block to type high. It is nice and compact, and built for hours of hard work. It works as a block leveler, and a router, and has an adjustable spindle with a locking nut to set depth. Stepping on the foot level raises the router-head in and out of the work, making it possible to make clean cuts inside the block.
