Another Libby I Dream of Jeannie
Had to grab this one as it has the complete waistband sections. Libby made the band in two sections which were pinned to the doll. This mimicked the cut-out section on the TV costume. The bottom piece is usually missing from these sold loose.
The entire costume was stapled and pinned to the doll when factory produced. Of course the first thing kids do is undress a doll as this one was. I have the costume lightly pinned back on until I can figure out what kind of fixing up I want to do.
It really needs eyelashes replaced and a reroot as the hair seems to have been cut. Why do kids strip their dolls and cut the hair! These things should always be left MIB. The left arm has a weird groove running through it seemingly having come out of the factory mold deformed.
