James PETTIGREW, mariner
PETTIGREW, James. Master, Lost at sea 23rd December 1915 aged 61 when his ship , S.S.'Moor' Cargo Ship foundered at the mouth of the River Tay, near Dundee and sank. He was the husband of Jane 299, Albert Bridge Road, Belfast. He is commemorated on his parents memorial in Dundonald Cemetery, County Down. The sea is his grave.
