Goin Yard Bigtime
This is a huge switch yard located near the airport we were landing at. I was amazed by it's size, the tracks extend well past the left side of the plane but since we were on approach I couldn't get a shot out the left side. It is never a good idea to bother the pilot when he is getting ready to land... This yard is just over 1 mile north of the St. Louis Downtown Airport in Cahokia Illinois. Dedicated to Tom "Lampy" the man who can make trains look sexy...
