1920 House, Exmore, Virginia Eastern Shore
Exmore. deep in Eastern Shore, Virginia, blossomed as a transportation hub for agriculture when the railroad came down in the 1880s (more on the history in a future post). This beautiful building is zoned commercial, but looks to have been a home when built, in 1920. The architectural style baffles me. I'd call it ecletic American foursquare, but I'm making that up. Your thoughts?
