One Pfizer Mosaic
Pfizer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, commissioned One Source VMS and its creative agency, OS39 to concept, design, produce and install a new branding campaign that is currently on display on the windows of their Global Headquarters in New York City. One Source VMS conceived and created the larger-than-life sized photo mosaics of 25 Pfizer colleagues. Each of these mosaics are individually comprised of over 2000 photos of Pfizer colleagues. The idea being that from thousands of Pfizer employees, there would be One Pfizer.
The project took nearly 3 months from concept to completion. The extensive effort ranged from individually rendering over 4000 photos from Pfizer, laying out the photos to create each featured colleague, to manually proofing each image to ensure that each was unique and appropriate. From steps away one could see thousands of faces of colleagues blending to form the greater image of one Pfizer colleague.
The finished mosaics ranged from over 10 feet in length to over 20 feet in height and spanned along 42nd Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue, as well as the block between 42nd and 43rd Street along 2nd Avenue. To further promote this new branding campaign, OS39 produced a corporate video, narrated by Pfizer’s Chief Communications Officer, Sally Sussman, highlighting the windows and the message it is intended to convey.
