CLINICAL INDICATION: Right posterior/lateral lower rib pain due to fall

 

PROCEDURE: XR RIBS RIGHT

FINDINGS:

There are minimal to mildly displaced fractures of the posterior right seventh, eighth and ninth ribs. No pneumothorax is identified. The right lung appears clear.

 

Surgical clips are present within the right upper quadrant related to prior cholecystectomy.

 

IMPRESSION:

Minimal to mildly displaced posterior right seventh, eighth and ninth rib fractures.
