Schloss Chambord
Château Chambord ist das größte Schloss der Loireregion. Es liegt ca. 15 Kilometer östlich von Blois in einem ausgedehnten früheren Jagdgebiet. Es wurde in der ersten Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts unter König Franz I. als Prunk- und Jagdschloss errichtet und gilt als das prächtigste aller Loireschlösser.
