Judge Taylor's Gavel

This gavel represents the court case of Tom Robinson. Tom was accused of raping a white girl, but was innocent. In the case, Tom was found guilty to the crime. This case played a major role in the book. Scout and Jem learned life lessons in dealing with their father defending Tom.
