Showing Martin Scorsese's "The Last Temptation Of Christ" posed some potential community issues in August 1988 - you can see a single protester (near the front of the line) carrying a sign. We were traveling here from Oklahoma City, where not one theater booked the film. So we delayed our return and caught the movie.
