Lester and Leona Van Leuven moved here in 1935 after losing their home in Twin falls during the great depression. They raised 7 children.Lester managed the range north and east of here for the Jeffereson county cattlemans association. The property was purchased by Idaho fish and game in 1961 just prior to Lesters death. Leona lived here until 1992.this was their milking barn.
