M/S Brahe (ex USS PCE 830 / HMS Kilchrenan)
M/S Brahe Lappeenrannan satamassa 7.8.2011. Alus rakennettiin Yhdysvaltain laivastolle 1943 (USS PCE 830) ja sen jälkeen se palveli Royal Navy:ssa nimellä HMS Kilchrenan sukellusveneentorjunta-aluksena Gibraltarilla ja Länsi-Afrikassa. Alus myytiin Norjaan 1948 ja sai nimekseen M/S Sunnhordland. Suomeen se hankittiin 1973 jolloin sen nimeksi tuli M/S Kristina Brahe. Nykyinen omistaja Saimaan Matkaverkko Oy osti laivan 2010 ja nykyään M/S Brahe tekee risteilyjä Saimaalla ja aina Viipuriin asti.

It was originally built for US Navy and served as USS PCE 830 and was later transferred to Royal Navy where it served as HMS Kilchrenan in asw duty in Gibraltar and West Africa. In 1948 the ship was sold to Norway and named M/S Sunnhordland. In 1973 it was sold to Finland and named M/S Kristina Brahe. Its current owner Saimaan Matkaverkko Ltd bought the ship in 2010 and it was named M/S Brahe.
