The spirit of Bayline?
The days of buses lined up on the Strand in Torquay awaiting passengers is now consigned to history. And the number of buses using this now much changed thoroughfare is considerably fewer. Opportunities for taking shots of the buses that do pass through can be hit or miss, as the new traffic lights at the bottom of Fleet Street can cause traffic to back up. I dropped lucky in catching Torbay Buses Mercedes Sprinter 42 (Bus Times shows this as an Atlas Tourline, but the bus carries EVM UK badges on the rear) as it worked a 64 service. The sight of a small bus carrying palm trees on its sides and front evokes memories of a previous generation of Torbays public transport.
