I said before that September was shaping up to be yellow aircraft month, but I didn't expect this Beech Staggerwing! Dating from 1938, it was initially a private/business aircraft and at one time owned by Imperial Oil. After WW-II it flew charters with Northern Wings in Quebec until the C of A lapsed in 1956. Nothing further known until it resurfaced with a Vancouver based owner in 2004. March 2015 saw a belly landing at Abbotsford/BC, from which it has obviously recovered.
