Crystal-clear water

The water that gushes out of the huge spring at Weeki WWachee is very pure, and crystal-clear. Because it is always 74 degrees, in colder weather, manatees commonly swim up the river all the way to the spring. We were fortunate to see them several times.

A Cypress tree can be seen growing in the river. They were common along the banks.
