Adirondacks High Peaks - Impressionist pastel

I once tried Impressionism as a style for a pastel picture. I liked it, but it was a lot of work to do. No black was used; darks were achieved using the complimentary colors. Colors have been adjusted by computer.

 

This is the view from Phelps Mountain, up the Ausable valley, with the Great Range and Mount Marcy on the right.
