Then came the rain

The final morning of our trip, the clouds moved in. We got up early enough to pack up the camp, eat, and load the kayaks before any rain fell - but 15 minutes into a 3-hoiur paddle, it began to sprinkle and then to rain. At first, paddling close to shore under tree canopies helped, but after a while, it was plain that we would get wet, even with rain gear on.
