Fleeing Moose
On a short day trip on Route 480 yesterday, we saw four moose and five caribou. I passed this one as it was feeding on the side of the highway, stopped, got out and started to take a few shots. Then, through the lens I noticed it had turned back on to me. Apparently it had heard another vehicle approaching from the same direction I had just come. As it came into view, the moose turned around and started running towards me ( on the side of the highway, not on it) and I managed to grab a few shots before it disappeared into the woods.
