Splash...Plouf...
Just discovered a whole new world of photography...well, actually, rediscovered it.Years ago, when I first started photography and was developing both film and prints in my own darkroom, I was always fascinated with milk/water drop splash photography. At the time though, it was beyond my limited means and available technology. Today it's a snap and I find it just as fascinating and completely absorbing. Feel like a kid with a new toy again and some of the joy and wonder of photography just came back! Plus, I'm back in the darkroom again...in a way ...and using another piece of equipment that was state of the art at the time...and still works beautifully after all those years...the Vivitar 283 flash. :-)
This is just a first attempt...I'm sure I'll upload others in the weeks to come.
On another note...if you are in the habit of reading EXIF data....this will show you that you really can't always trust it. :-) For this image, it says the flash didn't fire. Don't believe it! It really did...just not where you'd expect it to be. :-)
