Stretched To Capacity?

This one is not a crop, but if you look closely at the larger version you'll see just how much that ventral groove blubber attached to the lower jaw has been stretched! The pink stripes makes it easy to see how huge it is! Pretty amazing!

 

There are a number of humpbacks in this shot, but that is not a whale in the foreground, by the way. It's a wave breaking on the shore.
