A Rorschach Autumn
Someone put a comment on one of my previous autumn shots and said that if you turned it ninety degrees counter-clockwise, you could see a face. Well, I certainly think that this one looks a little like a Rorschach ink blot. So, have at it. :-) Again, this is not a crop. I just zoomed in on some of the detail on the other side of the river.
It amazes me that the city of Corner Brook doesen't promote this area to the high heavens. I know the peak color only lasts for a week or two, but when it arrives you will search far and wide to find anything to match it! You would think that Riverside Drive would be lined with photographers at this time of year. Instead, you would be hard pressed to find anyone at all shooting there. Even the provincial government does very little in the way of promotion ... but, of course that's understandable ... it's over here on the west coast of the province and not in the St. John's area.
