47278 Derby 15 April 1983

Another long vanished scene, a 47 on MGR wagons rolls through Derby in April 1983. I remember this day as the local bus company was on strike and we had to walk three miles to the city limit of Derby to get a bus home. All for a few peaks, 47s and 20s I thought at the time yet now I'd travel miles and miles and spend a fortune to see the same!
