My 3 Buicks showing their similar wheels. They are similar but not interchangeable! The '65 and '67 wheels have the same backspacing but the 1967 wheels have been modified to clear the calipers on disc brake equipped cars like mine. The center hole on the '65 is 2" and the '67 is 2 1/8" to fit the cone shaped center caps. By 1975, the center hole went back to 2" (and center caps were very similar to those of the 1965) but the backspacing of the wheels changed and they won't fit correctly on pre-71 cars!

The 1967 disc brake equipped cars and later models had their wheel webs painted black but older models (including 1967's with drum brakes) had theirs painted different shades of gray.
