Un'antica farmacopea narra che durante la peste di Milano, quattro ladri depredarono molte case, i cui abitanti erano stati falciati dall’epidemia, ed uscirono indenni dal contagio usando come salvataggio questo aceto.
Ricetta dell’aceto dei quattro ladri:
Un cucchiaio di foglie di salvia triturate,
un cucchiaio di timo o timo selvatico triturate,
uno spicchio d'aglio schiacciato,
un cucchiaio di foglie di rosmarino triturate,
un cucchiaio di foglie di fiori di lavanda triturate.
An ancient pharmacopoeia said that during the plague in Milan, four thieves plundered many houses, whose inhabitants had been mowed by the epidemic, and came out free from infection using vinegar as RESCUE.
Recipe of the four thieves
One tablespoon of chopped sage leaves,
tablespoon chopped thyme or thyme,
a clove of crushed garlic,
a tablespoon of crushed rosemary leaves,
a tablespoon of crushed leaves of lavender flowers.
